Dr. Dong Sub Kim

Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Kim is the Chief Science Officer at Lantha Inc., leading all chemistry research, development, and materials innovation. He oversees the design of advanced sensing materials and the integration of lanthanide-based MOFs into analytical technologies. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and completed postdoctoral work at UC Santa Barbara in polymer chemistry and materials development.

Harry Seth

Chief Commercialization Officer & Head of Product Engineering

Harry brings nearly two decades of experience in optical instrumentation and sensor technology to Lantha Sensors. As Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Product Development, he leads strategy to turn advanced sensing concepts into scalable products. His previous roles include senior leadership positions at Tower Optical, Micatu, and Sensorex, and he began his career designing fluorescence and spectroscopy analyzers at Ocean Optics. Harry holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Sarah Collins

Operations Manager

Sarah joined Lantha in early 2025 and serves as Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations, driving process improvements and scalable solutions across the organization.  Prior to joining Lantha, Sarah built her operations foundation at Amazon, where she launched and managed large-scale logistics programs as an Area Manager in the Central Texas Region. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Finance from the University of Arkansas.

Kyra Penino

Analytical Chemist

Kyra joined Lantha in June 2024 and serves as an Analytical chemist, synthesizing chemicals weekly, and conducting research and development of our product. Prior to joining Lantha, Kyra built her chemistry and analytical foundation at Weston Solutions, where she planned and monitored large scale hazardous site assessments and removals for the environmental protection agency. Kyra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Texas Christian University.

PCM-22 identified in Professor Simon Humphrey’s lab at UT Austin.

2019

Lantha founded to evolve PCM-22 for commercialization.

2020-2021
